Honor your devoted companion with loving after-life care from Heartland
Pets are family. They provide years of loyalty, unconditional love and devotion. Some of them have even saved lives or willingly laid down their own for the humans they love. That’s why they deserve respectable after-life care.
Those who have had to experience the loss of a furry or feathery family member know that it can be just as difficult as losing one of our human family members. As animal lovers ourselves, the owners and staff at Heartland Pet Cremation are dedicated to providing a dignified dog cremation, cat cremation or any other cremation service for a beloved family pet.
Private pet cremation only $295 for pets over 25 lbs., and $225 for pets under 25 lbs.
We treat your pet’s remains with the same dedication as our human clients and cremate only one at a time. Typically, a pet cremation requires four to five business days to complete. Then, we will deliver your pet’s remains in a basic, durable urn to one of our 4 area locations to be picked up. Everyone grieves differently, so whether you wish to keep the cremains at your home as a remembrance, scatter the ashes, we treat your pet with the dignity deserved by a loyal family member.
The basic pet cremation package price is an affordable $295 for pets over 25 lbs., up to 250 lbs., and $225 for pets under 25 lbs.
This price includes:
- Pickup services at your home or veterinary office within 50 miles of the St. Louis arch (a moderate fee may apply outside of this area)
- Private cremation to assure that your family receives only your pet’s cremated remains
- Cremated remains ready to pick up at 4 area locations within about 5 business days
- Clay paw print and fur clipping returned in a soft velvet bag

- Lower costs are available for bringing your pet directly to our facility near historic Lafayette Square Park.
Saying farewell to a family member is never easy, whether your pet has four legs or wings. It can be helpful to preplan for your pet’s after-life care so you do not have to make these tough decisions after your pet passes on, when you are distraught. Enough hard decisions occur at the end of a pet’s life, and preplanning can help reduce the number of difficult decisions you must make when the time comes.
Whether your family pet is nearing the end of his life span, having painful health issues, or just a young ‘un, preplanning for after-life care can lock in today’s prices to ease the burden during a time that will be stressful enough.
